    GUild Warfare

OKay ,this is really a newbie post. I've played guild warfare twice up to now and I have no clue what's going on. Isn't there some tutorial that explains what happens during the action phase? Can someone explains to me in detail? I really have no clue lol

Usually there will be someone in your guild taking the lead and giving orders, or you can ask your guildleader how they run it.
You have to claim guildfunds to be in it.
It starts at 8 p.m. server time and is announced on the server.
Then you click the icon to enter.

Basically there are 2 options: You either attack or defend a city.

    Attack:
Goal: Take F before the 30 rounds are finished and do not lose station A.
When you attack a city, you will start at the location with A (with the rest of your guild; There is no other option) and have to make your way to F before time ends.
If the defenders take A before you reach F, they win.
Everytime you can move to the next letter and win, you will gain a boost that gives you more power.

When you play against another guild, they will most likely be at spot B either waiting for you to attack B, or coming to A as soon as they can to take A.
When you die in an attack; you are transported back to A and will have to wait a number of turns before you can act again. ( This seems to mean you can also not defend.)
When enemy dies in attack, they are transported to F.

When you play against NPC, you will not be attacked and you need to move towards the next station and beat the power at every stop.

    Defend:
Goal: Hold F or take A
When you defend a city you previously conquered, you have options where you want to garrison/start.
The active members can follow the orders of a leader and all garrison at a station (B seems a good option).
The inactive members who have claimed guildfunds, but are not online will defend, but only after the first round.
They will be automatically placed in F as extra forces.

I am sure I forgot some details, or may have made some mistakes in explaining, so if any questions, please ask again.
Also hope others will add corrections or extra info .

Main tip though: Follow the commands in guild chat and ask how they do Guildwars .
    Good luck!

You do not have to claim Guild funds to fight in Guild Wars. You have to if you want to join ahead of time so that you can be assigned to a city. When the icon turns to Fight you can go in and will be assigned to a random city (if there is more than one being contested) and you will be in the same as if you had joined ahead of time.

Thanks for the detailed answer! I'd like to know something. When two players cross paths (enemies), do they fight? Or do you have to be on the same spot to fight?

I assume you are talking in the wilds. You have to click on the other player or the other player click on you to fight. You can not attack players that are lower that your level minus 3.

NO, not in the wild. I'm talking about Guild Warfare. When two enemies cross (player 1 walks from A to B, and player 2 walks from B to A). DO they fight or avoid one another?

When you move to a fort/camp that has enemy players the games decides who fights whom. The fighting continues until every one on one side is defeated. If you flip-flop (you cross each other while moving) it has no effect on the game.

Thank you, that's what I needed to know. It doesn't make much sense that people who cross do not fight, but it's okay.
