    Banish Boss formations 101

    Calvin - Blood - Cianna
    0 - 0 - Leader
    0 - 0 - Shayd

    0r,

    0 - 0 - Cianna
    Calvin - Blood - Main
    0 - 0 - Shayd

    Both of these work well, but the first seems to work better for the 1,250,000,000 Baal and Cerb Banish Bosses.
    Make sure your highest Spirit is on Cianna. If you do not have a LB spirit for Calvin, then you need 90 or less moral Calvin to time his Moral Breaker hit correctly. I use a level 5 Rightousness, but you can use any morale rune that displays 90 or less Morale (Including a +15 Morale Saint if your hero has one.)

    Banish formations are sometimes held closely secret by some people, I have noticed. Share the info and we can get the larger bosses quicker, as everyone will dish out more damage.

    Everyone will have to change all their formations once the beta update goes live.

    The addition of another mage that stuns, and another infantry that stuns, will really shake things up.

    Add to that the increased difficulty of stunning bosses.

    calvin w/ rightousness 5, My highest round was 13million damage with this formation and I average 3 - 4million/round with it; you really start pumping out the damage once you get LB spirit on cianna and calvin.

    But once the update comes this will change.

    the 1.25b banish is already to hard to stun. It ridiculous, my rounds are half of what they were in a 250m banish because of the reduced stun rate. And this is after Ive upgraded offensive abilities and added a LB spirit to cianna.

    There was absolutely no reason to reduce the stun rate in banish when we went to 1.25b and there is absolutely no reason to reduce it with the new patch. The only reason it is reduced is because the coders are too lazy to make the boss harder in other ways. SO they make it harder to stun, which is something we can not improve. Back in PRE LIVE BETA Banish was much more interesting. I forget if we had a 50m or a 250m banish at the time, but we could dodge the boss, the boss would dodge us, we could crit ALOT EASIER, and the stun rates for the banish boss were the same as they were for PvP. I would much rather see this variety of things in banish then just MAYBE stun, crit if you happen to have a level 10 advantage and 5pc guard on an archer or dawn, or you got lucky and got a crit sainting. and thats it. Let us and banish dodge, put the stun rates back to normal, make criting reasonable. Then make dodging harder as the HP goes up and criting harder as HP goes up, and LEAVE THE STUN RATES ALONE. IT IS PURE LAZINESS TO MESS WITH STUN RATES. Its a joke, that the one thing in the game we have 0 control over, is what they mess with in banish. To me that is just the cruelest meanest thing the devs have done.

    Like I said, you'll cry with the new stun rates lol.

    I'm guessing they adjusted it to balance the game, so that players would focus more on increasing damage, than increasing the amount of stuns they land.

    With the new heroes, you have a lineup that can include 4 stunners and your main hero. You'll see 250m bosses be taken down by a single person, if the stun rates aren't adjusted.

    Designed by my guildleader Scorn who also comments here. We have shared this with our entire guild, so I hope he doesn't mind my sharing with you all to try it out:

    X Calvin (morale between 50-75) Cianna (100 morale)
    X X Main (100 Morale)
    Blood/biggest hitter(100 Morale) Shayd X
    The morale is important as you all know for the timing on Calvin's Willbreaker. In this formation Cianna stuns (usually) on first hit, then all have round of hits, main dies (unless shayd stun worked), Depending on Calvin, willbreaker will limit next death to Cianna. Then it is all up to Shayd. I have had three times Willbreaker if Shayd is on her game. You end with Blood and Shayd. If Shayd is picked off, Blood gets that Double last hit.
