    Get rid of chips from the lab flips

    Look getting level 2 and 3 chips in a lab flip is the most annoying part of this game.


    It cost 770 tokens per hero to get all your spirits
    Now multiply that by 8

    and that is 6160 tokens total

    I average 3 tokens a lab. I do 2 labs a day, and get 700+ scores about 40% of the time, 600+ 50% and 500+ 10% of the time.

    that is 1027 days worth of lab runs or 2.81 years

    now you can get the rare plan on a flip but with the very low drop rate I have seen (5 plans in over 200 700+ scores) and even with the slightly better drop rates I have heard on other servers, even if you could get enough plans to outfit 2 heroes, you are still looking at 2.1 years worth of labs to finish your spirits. This could be greatly increased if we got rid of the stupid chips. Or at least increase them
    SO in level 2 labs you get level 3s and 4s and on level 3 you get level 4s and 5s.

    As you progress in difficulty through the labs, you still get level 2 and 3 chips. The other rewards such as coins credits rep and exp increase, but the flips do not.

    I would like to see chips replaced with better rewards such as
    higher level chips
    multiple tokens
    spirit plans
    relic plans
    100 gems
    etc
    I would also like that per lab run the flip reward is progressively better
    so the item you get on the 3rd flip is at least as good as the second flip or better. There is nothing more frustrating then getting 700 points and getting a level 2 chip on my last flip.

    I encourage all who agree with this idea or concept to speak up on this thread. If enough of us speak up it may get changed.

    I agree with you Matt. Nothing irritates you more than getting a level 2 chip from Level 1 Hard, Level 2 Easy, etc. Those chips can be bought in the fair for a MUCH better bargain. They don't belong in the Lab. Seeing as the amount of Destiny tiles has increased substantially and the chance of a Spirit Plan is near impossible, getting a chip after fighting a boss, spending 10 or 20 gems and all that stamina is enough to make you wanna get up and walk away. With all the other frustrations in Tynon, I'd like to see this one solved.
    Simply replacing chips with a token would be enough to make me happy. I think increasing the amount of tokens per lab would be nice also, but I'm sure that is considered asking for too much.

    Lets say you get 40% 700+ scores, that's 500 runs, at 3 labs a day that's 166 days. (First 5 servers have been live for 170 days).
    5 plans would be the worst luck in the world.


    On topic though, I'd like to see multiple chips for higher level labs. 2 level 2/3 chips in level 2 labs, 3 in level 3. As for the token drop amount and spirit plan drop rate, I think they are fine. (Tokens are higher since the reward changes, spirit plans were reduced.)

    The rewards should be higher as the difficulty of the lab increases.

    I agree.

    Further, spirit plan drops are too rare. I have never one drop (at least 1200 labs on three servers).

    I have gotten a few spirit plans, set up my last one so I could a champ spirit plan instead of buying it, but it would be nice if the chances after getting a 700+ were higher.

    Totally agree on the chips though. Either give multiples of the chips at higher difficulties or make the chips higher base rank.

    alot of those rewards are allrdy there you can get spirit plans ofc and 100 gems and lvl 4 chip

    and for you it takes long because you are no coiner? vip1 can die 3 labs and higher vips even more so that would give them even more advantage

    I don't know if I'm lucky or what, but I had 4 guardian plans, 1 ironheart plan, 1 lightbringer plan and 1 justice plan so far.

    On average I do 2-3 lab runs a day, depending on stamina.

    My advice would be to do the most difficult laby run that you can, and aim for 700.. a plan drop like lightbringer or justice will save you 100 tokens.. which is like 30 runs.

    When I first started playing in late June the number of tokens awarded followed a simple formula, one token for each boss plus any won on the flips. A 700 game would pay out a min of four tokens, with the possibility of getting up to 8. A spirit plan might be offered on the flip for the 3rd extra boss.

    When the ending awards were first introduced the possible token amount increased by one, so a 700 game was worth a min of 5 tokens.

    About a month ago things changed. Token awards have become very random. As near as I can tell it's one token for the end boss, one token from the ending awards, and flip tokens. If the extra bosses are paying tokens it's on a low percentage chance.

    The reason for moving from easy to normal, and normal to hard, was that it was a little more likely to get a 700 game as you went up, and the reward for a 700 game, other than the chip being a level 4, was the number of tokens awarded. That's gone now.

    Every time I run a lab now and end up with 2 tokens for a 700 game my desire to keep playing drops. I have enjoyed the game but this is just kills it for me.

    i have played this game since beta

    You only every got tikens for
    1. defeating the guardian
    2. from flips
    3, from the newer lab rewards

    You could never get 8 tokens
    the most you can ever get is 6 per run
