    Alt accounts

I talked with someone today. That person told me they used to have an alt account in my guild. I thought this was forbidden, but there doesn't seem to be any real way in which this rule is applied. I've read through the forums and seen people complain about ALT GUILDS. Man, this problem looks big! I saw the mods tell the ones who compained about alt guilds that they were only annoying the community with their issues.

What actions are taken against that? What's the use of making rules if you don't apply them?

The solution looks quite simple to me. You need a system that registers IP adresses. If the same IP logs in on the same server, you ban both accounts. This means family members can't play on the same server, which seems okay to me. There can be a 3 day ban warning for the first time + the banning of one of the two accounts if that pleases Tynon.

Now, maybe this costs money. I've read everywhere in the forums that Tynon wants money and doesn't really care about in game issues. But please, if you don't apply this rule, don't pretend the rule exists and don't list it in your rules.

    Dumb solution.

Ever heard of many people sharing the same IP address?

You can only have the same IP address if you share the same router (same house, neighbour doesn't protect his connection and you steal it, university's/café's connection, etc). Otherwise, your internet provider isn't supposed to provide twice the same IP address. And if it does, the two different users cannot navigate the Internet at the same time.

I don't believe many people organize Tynon lan parties. And it shoudn't be allowed to play on the same server if you're under the same roof.

Of course it would be fine by you if you arent sharing a house with others whom play. That's fairly selfish.

I'm pretty sure Tynon are aware of alt accounts. The game mechanics are developed in a way so that alts have as little benefit as possible.

Can alts be stopped? Well not really since nearly all MMO's have them, they seem to be part and parcel of the make up. They aren't allowed but it's very difficult to police and the best advice I or anyone can give is to report players whon you suspect of having numerous alts to Tynon Customer support.

Forum Moderators are volunteers and are unable to fix in game problems

whahahahah ohhh why did you have to get me started about this ^^

i send about 35 screenshots of a person using alt well actually 2

my support dont even get anwsered anymore so no tynon wont do anything against cheater only in the first servers

go look @ 108 lol there a guild with 15 people with almost the same name.. (15 alts)

alts are the way to win and that ip thing is useless you can OR hide ip or indeed more people playing on 1 ip say internetcafé or a brother sister that plays this

We have four players in my household. The ip address that is reported is the one for the router.
