Thread: Cianna/Shayd Stun rate appears to have been reduced

    What reason would the major patch be if you just stuck to your old heroes, formations, and strategies.

    It's not a bug. Stuns are working as intended.
    You sir wear rose color sun glasses while you play. Changing stun rates is MAJOR Change to the game. Its not like suddenly cianna stuns the front instead of the back. That would require some change in formation and strategy. Reducing teh stun rates effectively makes this a wait until you are even more powerful then you were to beat the bosses you already beat 100 times before. they are making the game more boring this way.

    Didn't you notice? All quest and heroic bosses have more power now, and are more difficult to kill.

    Are you going to put in a ticket for that too? For them making the game more difficult?

    I gotta agree that these "new strategies" spoken of are non existant. There are other ways to encourage strategy changes in the game, the main one being "Actually give us content that allows for strategy change." The new heroes are great, and they have the kind of abilities that encourage strategy change in PvP... But for banish, Quest, and Heroic Bosses, reducing stun rate only prolongs the process.

    On the contrary, with two new stun heroes available, and another only for the elite, that would mean you can have 1 leader + 4 stun heroes in your formation.

    Use calvin as a sub, or one of the stun heroes as a sub.

    A few people on the server I'm in have 1 main and 4 stun hero setups. They actually do a lot more damage now than before.

    Like I said, new strategies. There are several more new Banish setups that don't rely on stun that deal a lot more damage than the old setups, but I won't divulge those.

    At first I thought this just sucks, crappy stun rates , more powerful heroic bosses etc , but after playing around with different formations and new hero's with the added SUB hero slot, I am liking it more and more. Going to take people a bit of time to get used to it is all.

    Screens or it didn't happen. And do you ever get tired of having the best, #1, and only accurate opinion?

    Back on topic: Yes, strategy is now different, like it has been every time they "tweak" anything. People will evolve and find what works best for them, but nerfing stuns and, in essence, reducing the usefulness of heroes that many of us have worked on for months is an issue. And don't start with that "If you don't like it leave" line, I haven't spent anything here and could walk away no sweat, but for the people who have invested, I'm sure they aren't too happy.

    I digress again. So you claim that with these new heroes that *can* stun, we should be able to run all 4 and be better? So you have LB6 sets for your two morale stunners? If not, then you cant even begin to compete with Shayd's stuns from before.

    ON A SEPARATE NOTE: Stuns seem to be hitting, and the stars are appearing, but enemies are still attacking. I have noticed this in banish and HR today, and it wasn't like this yesterday.

    It may not be a bug, just another way for Tynon to get you to spend more money to get new hero's. Wouldn't surprise me in the least, this game is a real money pit.

    Tried a heroic boss tonight and watched Shayd whiff 2 out of 3 swings and only stun maybe 30% of the times she landed an attack on the boss. So she is almost pointless now, its pure luck if she actually does anything and extreme luck for her to be anything approaching effective. Also tried Smoulder in the same fight. He did more then Shayd did, which is pretty pathetic considering he isn't any better then he was.

    Having 1 or 2 stunners isn't competitive enough anymore now.

    If you want to really be the top dog in Banish, use 4 stunners and inflict up to 10m damage per minute/round.

    I can do 10m damage in a round with 2 stunners. adding a 3rd did not help since they nerfed the stun rates. Oh and yeah my ticket response was "We have slightly adjusted the stun rate of cianna"
    But no explanation why or anything about the fact its showing stars above an enemy like they are stunned but they attack anyway
    or why blood stuns sometimes etc. STINS ARE MESSED UP
