As a fairly weak player (3m power), I find that the new heroes are helpful in HR and quest. I'm still changing heroes and runes and formation frequently. But I feel that until I can beat Herja and recruit her, my potential for growth in server/realm PvP is limited. I've hit a wall between lower players and higher players in arena. It's quite sad, actually. Not one player in the top rankings of my server uses any new heroes. They stick to some Bloodstorm/Adam/Cianna formation. (For reference, top player is at 33m, but of course power is not an accurate representation of that player's strength.) With the transfer option, it's even easier to make changes to include new heroes. But for now it's still a brute force strategy server-wide, basically pre-patch as far as I can tell. And I feel at a loss for WB because my only method of morale manipulation is Calvin, and he only gets one skill attack, and i have yet to receive a Righteousness rune to get any more skill attacks in, and of course stunners don't stun well, but hey- at least I know HOW to do things, which is more than I can say for my servermates. I bet top players on other servers are having a blast trying new things out, but for me as a weakling I feel a little left out. For now all I can do is keep grinding on in the usual blacksmith, equipment (finally on to gaurdian woohooo), and rune temple until I can beat some more peoples.

And, btw, I'm broke from santa thorsday. I spent like 50m gold just on blacksmithing, so I have to spend even moar time saving up resources. It feels like it will take around a month to get to a good point all around, and unlike other players who complain but don't try new things, I Have Tried New Things and it will still take a little while.

In fact, I'd like to have some advice for what a lower power player can do to create a more dynamic gameplay. Advice, anyone?
