How to remove old blue characters from inventory???

HAVE HAD OLD BLUE CHARACTERS IN INVENTORY THAT ARE BLOCKING ME FROM GETTING NEWER BETTER ONES~!!! HOW DO WE REMOVE THEM~??? : IF POSSIBLE~!~???

i only have the one blue from today that the game made me take from the new patch which is "~Mehviden~"in my main hero page~! its my HERO INN that has 12 unwanted blue characters in it which non of them have any rune or gear on~!! i see no rest for that~! so do i have to go move all the golds and purples from main hero page and send in the blues Unequipped to get rid of them~!~????

Good question as I have been trying to figure out how to do this also. Hero's Inn full of blue heroes I'd like to drop.
