Seems to be working as intended. And they renamed it transfer from meld due to the misleading assumptions you could add saints together.
Maybe I will wait and when I get someone good will meld my last person with them. If I loose the 5 incredibly weak sanctifies? No big loss, if I get some good ones, great. 8 million coin? Chump change.
