I believe they were also inaccurate... I was getting less than the chat box was saying I'd get. I have no way to prove that however.

If you owned any rep bonus cities, then what showed in the chat box was your total rep earned with bonus. So it was accurate, just not an accurate representation of the % of damage you were doing. I'm glad they took it away. probably created unnecessary lag on the game.
