I just missed 14 rounds for Ragnarok. It started an hour early, again (so it started at 18:00) I was online at 18:00 because I knew it might start early. It's just that the Rag icon never appeared in my icon list, nor did the notification for the event appear.
Fact is there are two sections of icons in the upper screen, and you can switch between them by clicking the yellow arrow. If you're not in the right section, you don't see the icon.
That normally wouldn't be a problem, but because event times keep changing, I didn't think of looking into the other section.
EDIT: I knew it was ragnarok because someone achieved an 8 kill streak
The events list on server 3 now shows ragnorak as 6-7 pm and GW starting at 7 pm.
Rag was at 6PM.
The time IS shown -- it says "Battle starts in xxxxxx." I sent a message out to my guild notifying them of the time change. Also, you can see it in the DAILY EVENTS what time it starts at (the DAILY EVENTS tab has been updated with the new times, indicating that this change is likely to be permanent).
if they're going to change things like this, however, they should send out a server mail in order to inform everybody. they shouldn't make major changes to the game and not inform everyone.
The problem is that people purposely joined servers that would sync up with their daily lives and work schedules. I have many guild members who work and go to school and just shoving things an hour early makes it impossible for them to be active during the events now. They already miss the day events but have been able to hang on because they can participate at night.
People have spent a lot of time building their characters, we can't just change servers. Move Noble Lady or something like that which is more individual and doesn't give assistant credit. Guild wars moving like this can just kill a guild where people actually work for a living. Missing Noble Lady isn't a morale-killer. Missing guild wars most certainly is.
