The imperfect transfer clearly shows that you lose some stars and sancs, but it also reduces your previously gold sancs into white and blues? I had a half angel V with mainly gold sancs that now have mainly white sancs. That's a pretty steep reduction. I think this makes the transfer almost useless unless you were transferring lots of stars. For purple heroes, you could easily get spirit for 4-5 cards that would give you better results than the transfer.
TRANSFER does not have anything to do with the sanc colors.
You will get rolled a new set of random sanctify attributes on the receiving hero.
Gold heroes: blue, purple, gold sancs
Blue and Purple heroes: white, blue, purple, gold sancs.
The less rare the hero is, the less chance of a gold sanc.
Perhaps they have changed the odds for the different color sanctifications.
Okay, I see. But as Revan mentioned, they must have changed the odds. My existing purple hero had mainly gold sancs. The new purple hero ended up getting mainly white sancs. Quite a difference. I guess this means we should keep our existing sancs on our purple heroes. Resetting and redoing sancs will result in much weaker sancs.
I ended up with one white sanc moving them from my saint V alexa to one of the new purple heroes... 2 of them were Yellow, one purple... I think its just random luck tbh, because my alexa had 0 yellow saintings. Tho I will say, the Block and Dodge (yellow) saintings i did recieve on the new one were +13 instead of +15.

I have done 2 transfers so far. First one I ended up with two blue and two white from 2 gold, 2 purple, and a blue. Second time, I transferred the previous transfer. Ended up with 1 blue and two white. On purple heroes.
Maybe its random, but with rates like that, I won't bother except to transfer stars. At least that cannot get too screwed up.
Seems they made the pool of possible saint bonuses bigger by adding white, blue, and purple versions of hit, crit, etc. I don't know how the game chooses what it gives you but that it is pretty much guaranteed to affect the odds of getting a specific bonus that happens to also be yellow/gold.
Try to Transfer gold heroes. No white sancs there.
Did a transfer from Saint V Shayd to General Mulan. Mulan is now Saint IV with 2 yellows a purple and a blue. You may be correct about not having white sancs on gold heroes.Originally Posted by Herby

Well okay, it sounds like we had it good with sancs on purple heroes in the past. Sancs now vary depending on the target which makes sense. Pre-update there were lots of people running around with half angel V purple heroes that had great sancs and Saint II or III gold heroes (especially new servers) because it was so much harder to get gold cards. For example, people had no use for their newly recruited Dawn because they had a sanc'ed up Valla.
