Lost Runes from Latest Update/Patch

Sooo.. I, as probably others, keep a lot of high level gold runes on heroes not in formation and play/tweek with them as needed.. and when this awesome new update came..

Only the 12 heroes in formation kept their runes... rest are lost.. forever?

So sad to see soo many new heroes and we can't play with them all without those runes *sigh*

Mine did not lose the runes. The ones that were automatically put into the heroes inn still had their runes on them. BUT there's a catch. once you pull them out of heroes Inn, you wont be able to put them back in with the runes on the hero. Yea I understand that villian, and I was able to recover some runes and drop those heroes back to the Inn however I am still missing around 10 runes. If they were lower than level 7 or I was the only one it happened to then I wouldn't care and would suck it up lol. I think that thread you have posted is referring to is not having enough space to store Runes, which is a little off from what I am mentioning.
