I did try her with an intensity 8 and a ironbringer staff 30. And without those. I didn't see a noticeable difference but then maybe you need better gear and +magic damage talent then I have.

There isn't a noticeable difference, mainly because as a hero that only affects morale it's incredibly hard to make a fair judgement. Playing around with her I have noticed this.

With an apprentice staff lv5, no magic runes morale increase was approx 15 and decrease approx 5
With a lightbringer lv 30 staff lv8 intenseness, morale increase 30 and decrease approx 10

Not a massive difference, I'd agree.
