    I love the review! really accurate. thats why I notice that all replay in hero arena consist of Adamanti, Bloodstorm, Shyade, Cianna. These are the hero that is a Must-have-at-all-cost. I think I stayed too much playing tynon, that I missed the obvious. There will be no other build formation in this game. if you have 4 of them.

    There you go again. You're actually criticizing things you haven't tried yourself.

    After the patch I removed Cianna and Shayd from my formation completely. They're not even there as a substitute.
    And I'm trying to level a new hero now to replace Bloodstorm in the main 5 hero formation.

    Yes, that's how much the patch has shaken things up.

    If you still see Adam, Blood, Cianna, Shayd, Main hero setups, it's either they're too lazy to try the other heroes out, they don't know anything about the other heroes, or they're too scared to test new things.

    Herja + Flavius + Adam + Alci + Main -> 3 AOE attacks + 1 driving blow every turn.

    That's just an initial example.

    I've noticed that both Cianna and Shayd have been extensively nerfed, so the initial strategy types are becoming defunct. Since stunning isn't as foolproof as it was I'm having to rethink....

    True, although a good counterform would blitz that attack.

    It has. I've been testing Flavius Aetius today. As far as I can tell his WarCry removes 20 points of morale from all phyisical heroes. WarCry is a skill similar to Thousand Strikes but has the added touch of reducing an opponents morale.

    It seems that with the amount of morale drainers available now hybrid formations could become more common rather than the single mage + physical heroes that are the norm now. Watch this space.

    He doesn't hit casters with his skill attack though. In fact, he doesn't hit anyone without morale, including physical heroes who are at 0 morale. I'm on the fence about Flavius....

    Really. That is interesting. Hmm, kind of an Adam but only round 2 vs NPCs. Assuming they hit. Hmm.

    His special ability won't hit mages because they don't have morale, but he'll still inflict HP damage, if you remembered to put a hit rate rune on him.

    Againt a mage boss with 3 or more mage minions, you would better off with Adam as an attack that drains morale is not so useful, however the reverse is true against a physical boss with 3 or more physical skill minions and then Flav comes into his own.

    There are a lot of new abilities available now and the old favourites, Cianna and Shayd have been nerfed so stunning isn't as effective as before. It's why I've created this thread, different heroes work against different bosses.

    After using Flavius for awhile I notice he absolutely will not hit or do damage to anyone that doesn't have any morale. Makes him less useful in pve but still very powerful in pvp.

    Maybe this has been a change since he was originally released, I don't know.

    Or they have tested them but due to a lack of saints and stars they are ineffective for a while.
