alts accounts

since cheating is not allowed and talking about it is also not allowed how about getting rid of the part of the T.O.S that states that multi accounts are not permitted so that the player who follow the regulations can also open up multi accounts. i have played on multi servers and am a beta tester as well and the biggest problem i see on all the servers are the players that abuse the servers. it has became such a problem that the server that was just opened 112 is full of alt account to the point that they even discuss it openly in both guild chat as well as realm and world chat. sure close threads that talk about cheaters and allow them to continue. it is for this reason i have stopped paying to play. i have invested on several servers with hope that the cheaters would be stopped but that has yet to happen so i would say to others that pay to play and follow the rules about multi accounts STOP PAYING TILL THE SITE PUTS A STOP TO THE MULTI ACCOUNTS

Except that alt accounts do not offer much advantage to anyone, unless you have 0 life and play your alt accts like mains to build them up to farm. And since theres no autotynon out you actually have to do the work yourself.l

Only reasons i would see for more accounts are...
Boredom busters... Theres an outside world too cure that.
Maps... a bit more understandable.
GW... To ensure u get GW every night once Guild 2 reaches level 3.
To farm... as matt said getting a life is more rewarding.

or placing them into other guilds for war to know how many players that guild has when they will advance and when they will not . does not take much brain power to know there is an advantage to having more than 1 account. if not then the site would not have made it part of the T.O.S.

I'm actually starting to think we need more alts on our server.

For example. we did 250mil damage to cerb in 12mins with 15 people. But the final phase took 6 minutes cause there weren't enough bodies to end it in less then 3 rounds. If everyone had a low level alt to attack in that phase we would be on the next level cerb but no tynon's terrible changes earlier in the game's life made it impossible for lower pop realms.

Well im sorry we dont need alts to 'spy' lol. Didnt really cross my mind that one.

alts are a part of an mmo game i think. get over. When i joined beta, the entire alt thing weighed heavily on me. In fact its why i left evony for tynon. The way evony is you need like 10 alts to feed your troops. And to run that many alts requires an assistant. But here in tynon land. The best use of an alt is to get a map to sail. So the most you really ever need is 3. And a lot of alts were created back when everyone on every server was getting lefts. Now sailing is not a huge part of this game, its one small thing with small rewards except saturdays, which alot of guilds on alot of servers have enacted truces for saturdays. SO to technically break the TOS for such a minor thing is nothing to sweat about and complain non stop in forums.

Now farming alts is just a pain. Because you have no assistant to do all teh work on the alts to get them a lot of coins and credits. SO your not getting too much from farming alts

The lack of an assistant actually limits how many alts a player will create for farming purposes. SO it does not really have a significant impact on the game. Unless there is some guy with 0 life playing 10 alts all day long, now thats the guy to report and worry about

in terms of spying, well that may be important on some servers but not all, and honestly this is one thing that i agree iwth doing cuz its strategy and reuires hosts and vhs to pay attention to who is in your guild. But after the uber guild(s) form,spying becomes useless.

using an alt guild to bid against the uber guild can go 2 ways. 1 way is just to insure the uber guild has gwf. SO that while against TOS may actually be needed on some small servers. And this really only requires 2 or 3 alts in a guild to get the contributions daily to do it. You could do it with 1 even, SO dont see this unbalancing the game
however if a guild is using an alt guild to outbid another active guild then there may be cause for concern but i dont see an alt guild being able to sustain contributions over the long term to be able to out spend an actual guild of active real players. Sure it could happen, but if it did, the players controlling the alt guild have too much free time and money on their hands.

SO overall i chose to come and play tynon becuase even if people did use alts, I dont feel they have a significant impact on the game overall. ANd i think most players dont feel alts make a significant impact on the game and so most of us do turn our heads to it, unless these alts do things to unbalance the server, then we may take action. However on my server even though i know there are alts, I care less, I dont want tynon to take action against the players who have them, because it makes the game more interesting for some and keeps the server more active. These alts really dont effect me too much if at all. SO as the old saying goes " NO harm NO foul"

SO could we all just stop complaining about this in forums. Its been talked about forever and a day. When the convo crosses the line and breaks forum rules it will get closed. Discussing it here makes no difference to anything.

If you feel that alts are unbalancing your server, then you need to gather serious evidence and send it in repeatedly, and frequently. Have others do it. And be patient,

I disagree that alts don't change the server. On one I play, which is an earlier server (1-10) there are more alts than people playing. Last month in the top 50, 7 were alts. This month 16 are. Why? They are farming out smaller players and growing and now they are able to sink ships in pirates. 2 alts are now in the top 15.They use them to get bigger bosses in cerb/baal fights, giving them an advantage. By farming other players and then farming the alts, that also gives them a huge advantage. The server isn't just facing one person with 10 alts, there are a few. They go into other people's boss fights and take the 10k prize away and if that's not enough, they log into each others accounts to farm other players and sink ships. How do we know this? They create new alts all the time. They have admitted all of it. They know Tynon won't do anything. We know it too. When you have an alt with 40 million power, you've got a big problem. Multiple people addressed the issue to Tynon for months, which included the server flooding them with screen shots of the abuse. Did they do anything? Obviously not. They want your money, fair game play is far down on their priority list. A lot of players have moved on to another server or gotten so fed up they have just quit the game. I'm on another server, which I will not coin after my experience on my first one. There are alts, the abuse is no where to the extreme my first server is experiencing. But when the abuse is so blatant and Tynon does nothing, there is no way I will pay to play. When the championship warfare starts, have fun. You will be facing people from my first server who have gotten the power by extreme cheating/abuse and most probably will be facing their alts too.

i'm sorry have to disagree with the alts being alot of work

you can open a few tabs (or diffferent browser) to keep multible running @ the same time

and there is a auto tynon its called training..

the only thing they do is use the first 7 days bonus gems ($999) total to buy coin stack @ fair for 10 gems

well that only needs like 5 minutes a day and a +- 7-8 hours to check new fair items..

as i said above it won't requier much + 750gems : 10 = 75 x 1,0m up to 1,99m = 75m coins up to 150m for 1 alt..
and if its empty just make a new one we get new players almost every day they have NO rune power because that cost coins and they dont want that
and @ the end there all lvl 40-45 and gone.. OR they move them to there own guild to gain extra sails coz there are no more partners to sail with and get extra contribution
and getting 75 contrinbution takes like 2 minutes.

yes we have this no life person on our server and its a coiner IT even coin's alts....(vip1)
repeatedly and frequently ? report? how about daily for a month with 5 screen shots a day still no result..

and now formed indeed a alt guild to challange themself for even more money + joining baal cerb on the other realm to try and steal 10m. kill

do we have a unbalanced server? nahhh theres only 1 person with like 35 lvl 10 runes the rest only has about 10 but further everthing is cool.

did you see the new europe server?(108) some guild has 15 players with names like this (not actually names can't post ofc)

Seriously, if I see another thread on alts I'm gonna explode. I think this has been covered enough so after my post this thread and any other I see containing the word 'alt' in the title will recieve a lock on it.

So to make this clear to the community

• Alts are against the ToS and therefore report any to Customer Support
• This game has been developed in such a way so that alts have little benefit making some of the comments in this thread overblown
• All MMOs have alts and I'm not just talking about games developed by uCool. They are forbidden in every ToS I've seen but I'm (and so are the game developers) also realistic enough to know no matter what you do someone, somewhere will have multiple accounts
• Tynon are aware of the issue with alts, which is why you only get 3 sails a day, plunder 5% of res and limited to 10 attacks/revenges times a day
• Spying is one of the oldest tactics in warfare
