Thread: Give us back unequip

    Give us back unequip

"Your hero is butt naked and needs armor."
Ok, I deploy a hero and he/she has no armor. I add him/her to my formation and get told they need armor.
The game then slaps on the lowest level gear it can find rather than swap the gear from the one being replaced to the newcomer.
I then have to spend far more time selecting the hero to rob gear from, pull it off piece by piece and then place it piece by piece.
That is one of the DUMBEST code decisions I've seen implemented by the devs in the roughly 5 months I've played.
Seriously Stupid. Maniacally Moronic. Idiotically Ignorant.
I wonder what the thought process was for this and how many beers or other adult beverages were consumed before it was okayed.

"Let's speed up the fight's with a result button" GREAT IDEA!
    Drink 2 beers.
"Let's make the results stay on the screen and destroy the flow of the game by adding extra, completely unnecessary clicks" STUPID IDEA!
    Drink some water.
"Let's add some blue hero's with decent skills so that the lower levels and free play can be far more enjoyable" ANOTHER GREAT IDEA!
Drink a couple shots of Tequila.
"Let's add an auto equip feature that searches for the lowest level equipment available on heroes that aren't in the formation and is
completely worthless for combat and slap it on any hero that is added to the formation without it's own gear and then make the player
search for the now non-form hero with the better gear and remove each piece individually from that hero and then search for the new form hero
that has no gear and have them re-equip all the gear piece by piece." ONE OF THE DUMBEST IDEAS EVER CONCEIVED FOR TYNON!
    Drink a shot of whisky.
"Yeah let's do that." THE DUMBEST IDEA EVER APPROVED FOR TYNON!

No, I wasn't a fly on the wall of that meeting.
But that has to be how it happened.
Only a drunken stupor could explain that decision.

    Please, return the un-equip button.
That way we only have to re-equip the gear.
And the gear we are building and storing for future use will remain where we left it.

go to heroes and select the hero you want to go to the in and click on REST(you can find this next to saint lvl ) make sure he has no gear or runes else it wont works

@gorgon i think you allrdy had a sword or staff on that hero it swaps my gear just fine BUT not if i put in a sword a or staff ahead then it will mix some other gears together.

OK... I didn't see that small button. It was lost in all the huge button clutter.
I DO approve of the small button.
Now get them to apply them to all the other buttons in the game.

Tynon really screwed us up for a while there - they changed the unequip all link to small print right under the hero and added a new button where it used to be to make it asinne stupid to set us up to transfer our stars to a differnt toon by accident. Never seen such maliciously designed human factors engineering. I mean they had to think hard how to screw it up for us.

The other DUMB thing is that it tries to auto equip your new hero moved into formation when it puts up the nag warning to "equip" each and every time you move a new hero in. So low and behold it will find that low level spare sword or staff and prefer to equip it over the better ones or not equip anything at all and not tell you so that your Calvin is giving the middle finger to Will Break Baal. I mean do you people go to school to learn how to screw things up so perfectly??

So now that I learned that if you are VERY careful and only move one hero out of formation at time and replace it with a new hero it will use all of the other hero's equipment (unless it finds that spare low level sword it wants to use instead - so hide it in the bank or delete it!).

Just give us what I asked for 6 months ago - PRESET BUTTONS that give us 3-5 preset formations that we can label and define and click in anytime we want to go PvP, Heroics, or World Boss or Arena etc.

I mean really guys.... you seem to go out of your way to do dumb things with the human interface. But I will say that I am extremely happy you gave us that jump-to-outcome button to stop the silly animation that wraps flash around the axel and stalls out the browser. NOW get RID of all the nag pop ups everytime someone attacks us and stick with one paradigm of showing a red sword icon that we can look in mail for the full report rather than having to constantly click off the damn pop ups!!! Good Gawd... you people are just pathetic designers...

The other really DUMB idea was giving us new "pinkish" looking new heroes that are close enough in appearance to the purple ones that you have to really focus or else shuffle auto reflexively. And WHY did you change ALL the face images of the toons we have been using so now I pick the wrong hero's into formation when in a hurry. Leave well enough alone.

That's the thing Herby some people will complain about anything as they think they would do better at designing and maintaining a game.
Still waiting to see them get off their asses and do it though rather then just complain all day.
