You can go back and finish it whenever so long as you don't abandon it.
Your main problem is your unique mage play style. You really need heavy hitters to take down the aoe caster and the boss in as few rounds as possible. Smoulder is anti to what you need to achieve.
And once you finish a lab you have unlimited time to kill the extra bosses.
yeah, Smoulder is not so reliable. and he's all i got for now. aside from heavy hitter. I only do mages. Cianna and my leader is having a hard time criting boss ~_~" maybe I should give up....Originally Posted by Kruize
when you say, heavy hitters, you mean Bloodstorm and Adamanti right? or Rhize or DawnBringer. they don't work right for me. Wish I could have a do over lol. stupid mage line up.

It wouldn't be too difficult to switch to a traditional line-up. would only need new swords and to adjust some talents. Also some bany/adept but other than that not too difficult.
I agree it is never too late to change as I for one am not a big fan of mages so never had any in my lineup till the bosses in HR became too strong then had to eventually work with Sharyd. Now with the new heros have to change again and experiment with them. So adapting to diff situation is the key to going ahead in this game and that is what makes it so interesting
Heavy hitters I'm talking about Princess Andromeda, Bloodstorm, Lance or Pompey.
Like the others have said, build 2 new swords and you will transition fairly quickly. At most you should be using 2 mages with these new setups that seem to be available.
I don't run Adamanti and never really have for my first kills both pre and post patch.
1 of the 2 bottom mages had to go and bloodstorm needed to be placed OR behind main OR behind ciannahere's a battle formation

imo here behind main would be best and just hope and be lucky with shayd she stuns boss. i know its a pain but the next level there will be a minotaur infront of her so you cant stun her right away..
only problem here is how are her/his talents sett up..
most have high skill attack talent etc.. but think she focuses on magic attack ofc..
