Is this how the arena works now?
Scenario: B has exp stakes.
A hit B for experience stakes.
A gets +1 exp immediately, then removes all characters in formation.
B hits back, reclaims exp stakes, gains 2 exp.
Kindly correct me if I'm wrong, as this would greatly change how my guild deals with gem stakes.
Thats how I read it. Time for some testing.
After reading the system mail myself, I think it means this;
-A attacks B, claims half the stake.
-Within the 30min cooldown period B is able to defeat A and reclaim the other half.
-If A is unable to defeat B before the cooldown expires, he/she gets nothing since the stake was returned to B when B defeated A.
Since the word 'reclaim' is there, I'm persuming that's how the scenario plays out.

Just tested it.
Guild mate hit me for Chest stake, loots the chest (level 100 item trollololololol) immediately.
This means that chest stakes can be duplicated, and it's based off the original stake holder's loot pool.
Tested for EXP as well, half of exp are credited straight away to challenger, then proceeded to take back stake.. resulting in 50% exp gain for challenger and 100% gain for original stake holder.
Is it supposed to really work this way?

What about the gems i spent on opening arena stakes slots? The fourth one was 10 gems, and the fifth one was 20!

what about:
1.you have 0 gems
2. hit A for 10 gems, gain 5 gems
3. spend 5 gems immediately
4. A hit back, regain his 5 gems
5. can you have -5gems?

Ravior, when B hit A back (in the exp case you tested) and B regain his stakes, can another person hit B to get another 50% of his stakes? If so I see potentially for lots of abuse
I assume it's possible with the assumption that the original owner has the patience to keep reclaiming his stakes after being hit by various players.
Everyone will have to wait until the original stake owner robbed his stakes back in order to get the 50% as well.
That said, I dread to think what would happen, should Leader Cards or 1000 gems stakes come up.
