Championship Warfare is 8 hours from round to round. Why is it so long? Is there a real reason for it?
its automatic. so you don't have to worry. lol.

It isn't 8 hours round to round, after the super long countdown that we've seen for a couple weeks ends, it selects the first prelims opponents and from there it is 8 hours til the fights.
