    Champ Warfare Tickets

I would be interested in hearing a different perspective on the value of these Championship Warfare tickets. I don't play beta so I only have the information from my live server to go on. Here is what I have formulated in my head.

You get a free 100 ticket bet per fight. You can ante up this bet for 10 gems to multiply the bet by 2 or for 25 gems (total, 10+15) to multiple by 3. In my first 2 fights I have won and upped the ante to the max. So, I have paid a total of 25 gems per fight and I now have a total of 2800 tickets. I got 2000 free for registering. I won 600 though my bets and I don't know how I got the other 200.

So, let's continue down this path. It costs 50 gems for 600 tickets or in this case maybe 800 tickets. Not sure but let's use 800 since it gives the game the benefit of the doubt and it makes the math simpler. 800 tickets for 50 gems. It costs 10,000 tickets to redeem for a level 5 chip in the ticket exchange. Nice, I only have to win 8,000 tickets since they gave me 20% of the total cost for free. To win 8,000 tickets using the ante betting system that would equate to 500 gems assuming I have enough fights and wins. It's been a long day but I think my math is right there.

If I take a quick trip over to the Fair I can see her offering me two level 5 chips. I can buy a Topaz for 737 gems or a Ruby for 633 gems. These costs can vary wildly obviously. I can also get these chips from the Lab for 100 tokens a piece.

What am I missing? Maybe the CW rewards will go up as we progress through the tournament? I can't see where it's justifiable to spend gems to up the bet on the fights. Maybe some will say that savings on gems is great but I'm not buying a level 5 chip for 500 gems.

Each round of the championship the base bet goes up, to about 1k for the finals.

When you bet on a match you will win your stake '100' which costs you nothing to place. 3 rounds to a match for the prelims so if you could bet you'd win 300. (Losing when playing also yeilds the bet amount, so losing nets you 300 as well.) However when your actually playing in the match you win double the stake, so if you win your prelim fight 3-0 you gain 600 tickets, still at no cost to you.

As the rounds of the tourney progress through you will be seeing the 800,900,1000 base bets from the quarters to grandfinals.
The Grand Final is a Best of 11. So if you can get them all right thats 11k tickets without any cost to you from 1 round alone.

Forget what the gems cost to up the ante, have you ever seen anyone summon the runekeeper in the rune temple for 200gems?? Some things are just a bad investment. You will get plenty of tickets just by participating, both playing and betting.

I went 7-1 last night (all 3-0 matches win or lose)
So 4200 tickets from my 7 wins.
300 tickets from my 1 lose.

6500 tickets total without a gem spent.

How the heck did you get 8 matches? I only fought one and only got 2 rounds before the countdown jumped to 23 hrs.

pretty sure he's on the Asia/pacific servers. They had CW earlier than we did in the US> Also they've given us 5k extra tickets now because they postponed CW. refresh and there is a mail and the tickets are in your bank.

your extra ante applies across all battles within the particular round. So your 25 gems paid for a 300 ticket bet for rounds 1, 2, and 3. This become more valuable as we move into best of 5, 7, 9, and 11 rounds. at the 11 round fight you're looking at 3300 tickets for 25 gems if you bet correctly. that's 16 blue medals, a 160 gem value (80 on fridays) for 25 gems. overall not too overpriced.

Our champ warfare on asia/pacific, 17hrs hours earlier then the US one, went off without a hitch. We have day 2 in a couple hours. Europe was fairly fine too from what I heard.

I think the US was just overloaded honestly. They weren't prepared for it completely.

Anyone know how long we have to spend the tickets? The tournament will end in a few days, will the store be open after the tournament is over?

The Euro one has gone through without a hitch, except after the US crash it was restarted.

    At a reasonable guess, indefinitely.
