Servers down?

The problem is they took down the servers with no warning! Yes, they sent out an E-Mail on the screw up last night, but said nothing about taking the servers down today. What most of us are complaining about is their total lack of communication with us, the players.

They didn't take down the servers intentionally. Something went wrong. Probably something described with the word "catastrophic." They probably don't know what this issue is yet, therefore can't post an explanation or timeframe. Source: 15 years of software development.
