Championship Warfare --Issues with Points, Mismatches, Reserves and Other Problems

i just want to know if Tynon is planing to do anything about the championship arena? I mean if every server is in the same prelim then everyone who is not on the first 50 servers made is just flat screwed and shouldnt even try. Would love to see it bracketed a bit more fairly so more people can have a chance to win. Current setup favors players on old servers who have had tons of play time/ levels/ gear/ gems/ and most of all$$$ put into the game. please dont misunderstand, im not against people spending $. I just think in my opinion that it shouldnt be a total free for all against people that are newer v.s. people 50m power more than them.

I totally agree with that. I for one am playing on one of the recent servers. Even the strongest beast here has no chance of making it to the knockout stage. They should group, in the future, servers that started at about the same time.

I agree with the problem concerning byes. I won every pairing I was in, but because of byes I didn't make the knockout rounds. If I lose to a stronger player that's fine, but a player shouldn't be penalized because they don't have anyone to battle. A bye is supposed to be an advantage, not a penalty.

It was not a matter of refreshing. I tried, i tried everything. Sometimes while watching the next battle would just appear.. like it SHOULD. I did nothing different, then the next round would be back to a BYE. LOL It's so stupid it's nearly laughable. Only somehow i'm not laughing. They can't even believe us that something is wrong, with all these posts, reports and people, they say - NO, you didn't get that. *facepalm* Smacks of the "free lab" debacle.

Sorry to disappoint you, but one of my players on Server 86 has about 70 million power. Nice guy to have in my guild, too. I admit that he spent the past month powering for CW, so there are a few players on newer servers capable of competing.

With that said, I have a different issue with Championship Warfare as an event. I am on three West Coast servers, and had to participate in guild wars while the CW event ran. Very annoying to try to run three guild wars at the same time as three CW battles. My computer crashed every ten minutes or so. Please move West Coast GW back an hour and let us fight them separate from CW.

Not quite. I did have the animations restart, yes. However, this is an actual substitution of the first guy down. The rest of the opponents still show the damage done thus far in the battle. Just the first guy down reappears right where he was at full health.

This still is not right. I had 8 byes in the prelims--I won all 9 other matches but because of the byes I dont make the next round. Byes right now are like losses. Not right

Hey guys, as you might imagine Championship Warfare is an enormous undertaking. We're continuing to monitor it and make ongoing improvements. Please hang in there!

The smaller championship warfare's seem to work alright (Asia-Pacific), maybe the US one is too big. Hence missing out on so many battles each round and thus denying even 50mil+ people a spot in the main tourney.

omg he speaks! Dawn there are so many questions I don't even know where to begin. Could you just start by explaining how the bye system is supposed to work, if it is supposed to be there at all?

I for one love the idea, eventhough it has many faults up till now.
The European server championship seems to work reasonably well at the moment.
Winning the last round of three no longer gets you the point.
As soon as a bye is drawn, it changes to an actual fight with opponent.

There is still an issue with the betting.

I applaud that Tynon is trying a new thing and with it being so big, I find it rather logical that there would be many bugs, glitches and faults still in the system.
Better to try and fail so it can be improved, then not to try at all...
