love it " Players who did not make the cut are better then many players who did." SO you think because you have played the game longer than others you or players from the early servers are better?...lol All this event is doing is giving out nice rewards to OLDER players, not better players. So the screw up with the byes has just given others a random chance to get some of the better rewards....TY Tynon


I am on a server above 50 and have 49M power....what would I have if I had been playing since day 1? Now, who cares.

I don't think Tynon can scrap it now as that will upset even more players ( the ones where it has run smoothly and I am using smoothly very loosely). I for one don't care one way or the other. I can see both sides or the arguments though. Would hate to be in the shoes of the powers to be of Tynon ( unfortunately they have brought this on themselves)

I know they wont stop it now. That would admitting a mistake. And they refuse to do so. The majority know I am right on this. The power players dont want to be handed a win on anything. The majority of power layers in this game have worked their butts off to be as good as they are and would never want anything handed to them. Im sure if all the 60m+ players all got 7 byes and did not make the cut it would be fine too? It doesn't matter who didnt make it this time, the system used to determine who is in the 512 is a joke and does not represent the best of the best. Will this effect the eventual outcome? Who knows, since we cant see who did or didnt make it in, and since not everyone who plays on Tynon visits the forums we will probably never know for sure. And im sure #513 through probably 520 or lower had the same wins as 512, so what was the tie breaker there?

Matt, I think it might be a good idea to test this thing up to the end. There might be more problems after all! You seem to talk as if this were ruining your game experience. I can understand your frustation, but get over it man. Life goes on, it's just a game. There are problems, so be it.

It has ruined my game experience. It has given weaker player son my server an advantage over me they did not pay for or earn. I am extremely upset over this. Anyone who isnt - does not understand the gravity of this screw up by tynon.

The way it happened is no worse than what was going to happen before. Your comment of "It doesn't matter who didnt make it this time, the system used to determine who is in the 512 is a joke and does not represent the best of the best." Represent the oldest is what you should have said, because that's a lot more accurate

matt, in the grand scheme of things the group of players who would've have ended up winning if there had been no byes or glitches, will still win. Not going to be any crazy upsets here. Also there are not going to be a huge amount of sweeping consequences stemming from this. No you, and I, and several other desearving players didn't make the top 512, but not th eend of the world we can still bet and make a fair amount of tickets. And to address your advantage thing. The advantage gained by the extra (maybe at most 15k) tickets is minimal and if you're that close to them for that to make a difference to begin with then they have worked about as hard as you. And a large portion of advantage gained in this game is luck and paid for, not really a whole lot "earned" as if you don't pay you get everything for free. I normally agree with you on most things, but I think you're taking this way to personally and out of proportion as to its sweeping effects.

Ok let me paint you all a picture since your not getting the ramifications of this system taht is in place.

Lets take Player A who is 110m power
Player B on the same server is 105m power

Who would win between these 2 in a best out of 11? Good question. Power isnt enough to determine this alone.

NOW lets say Player A gets 7 byes and cant advance
Player B wins the entire tournament and gets all the rewards that Player A never even had a chance to fight to get. Player B then gets a serious advantage over Player A on the same server. Tell me how that is a good system, because that is a reality in this system. It is why this whole thing needs trashed and reevauated before it is attempted again.
