A 'bye' should be considered a win and earn you a point. In any other form of competition a bye is considered a win which grants you points. There is no control if you get one, we should not be penalized because of it.

what makes it worse, is there were only 8 rounds, but somehow people have 9 points....explain to me how that is possible.
Wonder if it has something to do with having two characters of the same name, on different servers...? My character on server 2 (the one I made first) had NO problems with byes, and fought every round. But my main character (the one on 78, which all my power), had many problems with byes. Then, when I look at my record on Server 2, I notice I've lost every round that I drew a bye on in Server 78. Coincidence?

A "bye" should be considered neither as a win or a loss, and we should all have the exact same amount of byes.

false. a bye in a tournament is automatic advancement ex: playoffs. And in this case, there should only be a bye in a round robin if there is an uneven number of participants. and if that is the case, 1 bye per round. So only 8 people should have had a bye, but they should have been awarded an automatic win.Originally Posted by VillainX
