To have low probability of success is one thing but to lose captured ground for trying to advance is just total counter-cultural foreign mindset thinking. I won't get goat roped into the BS and refuse to go beyond 6 or 7 stars - just not going to leverage my credit card for that nonsense. It would be better to just roll up the effective odds to advance to next level of stars and get rid of the loss of stars. That system of play requires you carry around a bucket load of stars so if you get a long run of losses you can get back to were you were before. I'd rather incrementally try starts one at a time as I get them and have time for it rather than cluttering up inventory. If you do lose stars you often can't beat old heroics you used to be able to. The person who designed this concept is a sadist....
