Its not luck. Look at the saintings and crit rating on both Adamantis.

Exec has two +15 crit saintings where Bubba does not.

It was more the attack/defense bonus Exedude had that allowed him to hit so hard on that last fight , thats the beauty of 11 rounds..anything can happen. The crit lvl only allows your crit to land more often or less often depending on the resilience lvl of the player or NPC, I don't believe the crit lvl causes more damage per hit ,that is skill/phy attack which would have been boosted by 30 percent ? in that last fight. I am not 100% sure though as there are no guides showing us any of this except for our own trials and errors.

That said , Execs higher crit rating may have allowed the boosted attack to land on more heroes depending on their resilience rating.

Yes, but Exec had two crits that allowed him to take out two of Bubba's troops.

Like you said, crit chances depend on both crit rating and resistance. Im assuming the reliability runes on both sides were around the same level. In that case, the reason Exec was able to crit more often than Bubba in the long run is the two crit saintings, giving him higher chance to crit. This doesn't mean he will crit like that every fight, but in the long run he will have more battle-deciding crits than Bubba. Once all Advantage and Reliability runes hit max level, its little things like that which will decide matches that stretch into many rounds.

Yue's lineup doesn't stand a chance against Bubba or Exec's setup.

What makes you think he will use the same line up against better players. At the moment he is doing enough to win easily.
