hi,i think the new rep system is terrible!,i was so close to getting ada on my alt the BOOM out comes another one of tynon's terrible idea's,for new players this is goinna be so hard fir them to get good hero's and therefor they will just quit!. personally i think this rep ystem should be changed back to how it was

well the issue is this.
On a new server getting adam will be equally difficult for everyone. So I see no issue there if adam is 100k,400k, or 4m rep. As long as it is the same for everyone. Now on established servers this has created an issue. Hence the 500k rep to help get you closer. But it was not enough for all. But if you had him unlocked he stayed unlocked. I only really play server 1 so my views are slanted on this a bit. I m not sure how badly this effected say servers 70-90. It could have possibly skewed them a bit for a while, but it should balance out in the long run. Especially with all the new heroes and some of their abilities. You have what 4 heroes that drain morale now? IMO Adam is no longer the end all be all hero for quests and HR. There are new ways to do them.

I concur with you here matt. I have an account on 82 far behind my earlier account and I was no where near adam or blood when the update hit. I'm now using several of the new purple heroes to greater effect in HR than my older account with adam. He is an incredibly effective hero, but not the end all be all he used to be. In fact, when he is unlocked i'm not sure people will want to replace what they have with him.

You guys are only looking at the gold heroes . The new purple heroes are very strong and that adds more variety in the game than before the patch mostly everyone basically having Blood, Adam , sharyd etc

actually i think most of the new gold heroes are under power, they are easy to kill and do a lot less damage than rhize, adam and blood. i have king horrible, king thesus and a couple others and i dont use either. however they is very interesting choices at the purples like herja and flavius that open doors to new PVP aspects by debuffing and make the game significantly better, too bad the new gold ones are not the same but stronger.
to the OP i have to agree tho and point out about a friend of mine who was 1k rep away from bloodstorm and when he woke up the next morning he was 200+ days away while others that had him before spawn him in tavern and can redeem him from spirits. while he now has to try to fight new gold heroes in the royal challenge at x10 and higher his power. he actually quit over it but came back thru a friends account that was better than his who also quit. i dont mind the higher steps in reputation, but what i mind is that before the patch we gained the same reputation as after the patch. so if you now require for example x10 the reputation of something, you should now at least get a chance and for example gain x5 to x10 the reputation as what you did before in example: win banish and get 10k reputation instead of 3k as you do now.

+1 to this. Yes I managed to get Adam on my older account, but fell short of blood, and have neither on my newer account. I've finding the new heroes to be much more intriguing, and honestly I want Khan way more than I want blood lol. I actually believe by the time i'm able to unlock blood I probably won't use him anyway.

I am surprisingly content concerning the hero/rep situation. All these new heroes, especially purple ones, give much more variety to gameplay. I'm actually not even looking forward to the heroes unlocked by reputation; the royal arena gives much better heros. I'm just happy that I just beat minister lascivius in quest with only 2.5m power; it was all Queen P. She is like my little Genghis Khan.

before the patch, I got new members in my Guild, and they just got Bloodstorm. few weeks later, boom the patch came in. Does the dev knows how players feel about that. its like after you push a huge boulder up hill, then a meteor came crashing and the hill just became a mountain. figuratively speaking. I on the other hand, feels like, it'll take forever for me to teach General, since, the stupid 3 way war in my server is dumb. since 2 realm teamed up to beat us. so, we really don't own a city. which is, demoralising. OH yes, I'm saying 3 realm server sucks so bad for us.
