Any info on how good or bad King Theseus is would be greatly appreciated and would you rather have General Alcibiades

I am 5k rep away from getting King Theseus, I know General Alcibiades is awesome when he is geared up , if King Theseus is better then the General then I will be a happy camper.

He's quite powerful, and I believe he's under utilized by players still.

His damage seems rather low, but perhaps I haven't seen him with the right rune equip on him.
With lvl 10 runes and lvl 60 sword and spirit, his damage does not beat alci or ada as of yet.

Ya I fought a few players in CW that had him and wasn't overly impressed , but they were not sainted much or stars cant remember what their gear was like. I will have a better idea today or tomorrow on his damage output.

i was laughing at him when i encountered him in CW and there is 2 players on our server that have him and he seems to die fast and the damage appears to be pathetic, sorry. i wish the new purples where a little less powerfull and the gold ones more over the top.

ps: i also noticed the same with king horemheb (we nicknamed him king horrible) and i think pompey isnt worth recruiting either.

I agree, the purples seem OP instead of the new gold ones in my opinion.
If you check the stats on Lancelot, some of them beat older gold ones too.
Seems not right in my eyes..

I think it's to make the game more competitive throughout. It makes people work harder to make the golds the heroes they can be, and those who can only get purples more likely to compete with those who have progressed much faster.
