Lancelot's card costs 1k spirits which is more than dawnbringer and ties with rhize.

i totally disagree on this one, if the base stats are higher on the purples than the compared the gold ones then why bother making gold wehn you can get pruple cards so much cheaper, pay 2 medals instead of 3, get them early in the game, etc...
lets make an example on this and do you really think that someone who got a half angel IV purple his/her set up is based on, who is happy with that purple and it "kicks butt"... you really think he is gonna take that one out of the formation and will put a high ranked but useless gold in there for 3-4 months until he caught up to the purple he replaced?
Yes. Very interesting fact to me.
It may well have been done to make the game more competitive, but it just doesn't add up for me really.
I mean, first we wait for months to get heroes with the appointed rep.
Then the rep is adjusted ( I guess we got there too fast) and we get a new gold hero next in line; King T.
His damage is lower than a purple hero most can get around 10 mil power..
Sure it is AOE, but even combined if he crits three, Lancelot tops the damage by at least 100k..
Queen B does damage that is laughable, even for the stun chance she has..
Pompey hasn't impressed me much in action and seems to need a healer we can't add to our formation..
Have they maybe not calculated the damage well for those gold ones?
Alci, Khan and Aphro seem solid though.

Guys sorry to be rude but please stay on topic I need more input on King Theseus. Have to say from the few above posts he does not seem to be all that good
The damage of King Theseus pales in comparison to Rhize, although his attack doesn't consume morale (I might be wrong on the damage part, since my KT doesn't have sanctifications/stars). However, I have noticed that he can actually stun heroes, if they attacked him with physical damage(I only saw this once, and I had 0 stunners on my team..maybe im drunk =p).
Wildflower is right Theseus can't stun, I think you've been seeing a graphic display bug.
Well at the moment Theseus is being underrated mainly because players have built their Rhize's up and haven't really done the same for Theseus. Could be wrong but it'll be worth waiting to see.

I got KT today and ran him and Rhize side by side in HP with similar gear and runes., he basically does about the same damage as Rhize but builds morale like Blood, has a base crit of + 40 (very nice) and +30 percent magic resist. If you like Rhize then your going to love this guy. Should be fun in Rag ..... Adami, KT, Rhize and General Alcibi....get ready for some splatter.....
Need to add: My Rhize only has 2 saints and 4 stars , KT had no saints and no stars.

I believe heroes which don't use up morale like blood, khan, KT are going to show their true worth once more people get into the strategy of using morale-draining heroes like Flavius and Herja.
Does anyone know how much morale is added for every successful attack of heroes like blood, khan or kt?
KT does nowhere near the same damage as rhize, I think I was one of if not the first person to get KT and spent the first few days after the patch focusing heavily on starring and sainting him up. I put him in my best set of gear and at absolute best he does 60% of rhize's dmg. I don't think he should do rhize dmg and glad he doesn't BUT do think he should do more, perhaps 75-80% of rhize's dmg. I ultimately scrapped him in favor of alci because alci seems more balanced in the dmg department and felt hardier. KT's base crit didn't swing him into useful territory for me either. I thought that maybe I was missing something and that his dmg increased as he hit further back in a line but that is not the case, neither did he seem to crit more readily as he hit further back in the line. Either of these options would have swayed my opinion of him.
As to whether or not they gain any morale doing a skill attack... good question I have seen them lose morale to 100, I would assume. not sure if they gain anything doing a skill attack.
