just a quick question to confirm and make sure i dont screw it up:
the substitue heroes need their own armor, weapon and runes?
... or will/could they take over gear from the previous hero?

They need their own equipment and runes.

yeah i figured, now i am having a new problem tho, when i want to switch forms they start to mix up gear now and sometimes have partial gear, then some gear is on the old/previous toon and some is on a complete different toon for some reason. any idea if others have the same problem or am i doing something wrong and causing some sort of glitch?
When the pop up that says that a hero needs equipment comes up click on the X on the upper right and the new hero will not be randomly (or at least I think it is randomly) equipped. In any case it is best to switch equipment before changing the formation.
actually i removed the heroes out of formation and then put them in and it still mixed up. there has to be a better solution to this implemented
if you have the hero equipped before you move him into the formation the equipment will not be changed.
No. I do not think it has been implemented.
good to know now that I have wasted stamina for upgrading gear for the "to be" 2 sub.
there will be a 2nd and 3rd sub but i think everyone is first rushing to get 1st sub fully geared runed etc
and when thats done they will implement 2nd etc.. IMO that is ofc.
