Flavius' skill attack not working on those without morale is a drawback which certainly can be a negative. If you want Calvin mainly for banishes because of willbreaker I've found that Knight Percy is a good low cost alternative. Since I switched Calvin out of formation Percy hasn't ever failed to knock Cerb/Baal's morale down which is all I use him for.

flavius is better, as he hits more targets than calvin
he will suck vs mages tho

How is the damage on flavius, is it spread out like smoulders? (damage with skill and phy attack stats would be nice) I have been trying to get him. At least 30 fights so far... pretty sure the probability is off, so not sure if I should keep going.

Might be worth it to transfer Calvin to Flavius just because it is very possible to pick up Calvin's from Heaven's Palace ... not that I ever have but its at least possible.
