    Guildwars exploited or changed?

    here is the scenario:
    lets say 4 players:
    defender 1 at C
    attacker 1 at B
    attacker 2 at B
    attacker 3 at A

    1 round planning:
    defender 1 moves C to B
    attacker 1 moves B to C
    attacker 2 holds at B
    attacker 3 moves A to B

now here is what should happen:
defender 1 moves to B, attacker 1 moves to C (jumping each other)
    attacker 3 moves to B
    defender 1 fights attacker 2 and 3
    next round...

    here is what does happen:
attacker 1 moves to C, fights defender 1
defender 1 moves to B, fights attacker 2
attacker 3 moves to B, fights defender 1

in the first case scenario as it should happen the attacker 1 should never fight defender 1
in the second what actually happens is that defender 1 gets to fight all three attackers at C and then after at B.
was this changed, is this a bug, does it normally happen or is this some exploit? i have seen hit multiple times now and that is why i am asking.

yes it is possible to CROSS eachother without battle start a strategy.. battle will only take place on a spot A B C D not in between..

as defender just stack 2 units behind eachother so you can be passed.. problem solved

and actually for us that a good thing passing the nr1 coiner here wil give us a city

you misread the problem smoki, no one said anything about batteling inbetween or crossing. in the above example one attacker should have JUMPED the attacker without a battle but doesnt. the entire point is that the attacker seems to move first onto the city so the defender can defend and after the defender moves on to the next city to fight 2 more battles during the same round in two different locations.

    ohh i see now
but the problem stated above i have never seen on our server

but that would be a rare case on our server so hard for me to check up on

maybe its been changed to stop the crossover, i mean u wouldnt walk past ur opposition just like that... there would be a battle, wether it be in the city, or on the path to the other.
This way seems a bit more realistic!!

well that would be nice but then the weaker guild would never have chance? and the sneaky passing trick can be a good tactic to pass a stronger player

actually quite the opposite, many ways lead to cities and especially back in the days without aerial observations, entire armies missed each other a lot unless they had planned to face each other on the battle field. plus if you cant jump each other anymore then there is two things happening that are unfair. first of all it is a lot easier to defend with just a few defenders (one guild can split up more easy to defend all cities in case of multiple attacks) and secondly it would defeat the entire purpose of a strategy to form a spearhead or even scout. all the defenders need to do is sit on B and advance.

I'd go with bugs. We had a near-loss the other day when the +50% heal at D went to the attackers instead of the defenders that had been sitting there from round 1 on.
