Basically agree with you here. Except that I think the main reason people create new accounts when a new server is opened is to have the chance to get a jump on others and get that top 10 power spots and hope to keep it.

More settled servers would generate more revenue if we had more competition I would think. I would certainly be more apt to spend money on gems and invest them in the guild if we needed space for members. Instead of doing it for benefits and to eventually build up to the next city.

I don't imagine the servers they need to run this game must be horribly expensive, but it must be expensive enough to maintain them that having as many as they do is going to cause more financial drain down the road then the cash inflow from the spend fest of a new server generates.
