Revenge exploited?

I haven't won against the same guy for months but every time i revenge him (and loose) he get's another revenge and beats me again. To my understand he should only be able to revenge me when he looses?

If you are within 3 levels of his level then he can revenge after 24 hours.
You can attack UP any number of levels. Down from your level is limited to 3.

Don't think gorgon is understanding the question. My understanding of how it works is the same as yours... he shouldn't be able to revenge you. You should probably avoid revenging him until this gets fixed.

There used to be a bug that allowed multiple revenges but that was fixed last summer sometime.

A player can hold multiple revenges on you and use one every 24 hours until he runs out. For example if you tried to steal a map or sink a boat 10 times and finally got it on the 11th (or did not get it at all) the other player has 11 revenges against you and he can use one every 24 hours until he has used all 11. The same is true for attacks in the Wilds, HR, HP or Banish.

I am assuming that when you say that you revenge him and loose you are doing it from the Revenge tab in the mail. If you are just attacking the player then he gets another revenge.

I have several players revenging me every day for months now and there is no way I killed them 60+ times...from what I understand from the revenging....If you kill a player at sea or in wild he gets a revenge on you. He gets to revenge you every single day until he beats you! It has to be this way, because there are 2+ players that I only killed a few times and they have both had way more than 50 revenges against me!

I am tempted to just use up all resources and let them win....just to get them off my back

That is a good way to do it. Use up resources, power down completely and let them win.
The revenges a lower leveled player can do stay on a long time, but they do run out at some point - not sure if you have to beat them, they just seem to run out.
However as soon as you sink them, they can use it again.

I feel I am a daily events for lower powered players to get their assistant done.
It is not a real issue, as long as it doesn't happen during banish for me.

if i understand class correctly, he hasnt won recently for a long time and when he revenges the other player from the revenge tab and looses it, then it shouldn't generate another opportunity to get revenged again. it sounds a lot to me like that player who is killing him several times a day is exploiting something and should be looked deeper into before this becomes a server wide habit. on my server i am the highest ranked player on level and i can only revenge when someone attacks me at sea. if i win the revenge i dont get another for the rest of the day and the next day i only get a revenge when the opponent managed to actually win one. i have however 10+ players sending me revenges daily (i assume its for the quest) which is fine for me and it will not generate a revenge for me either. so i look daily at the big screen telling me there is no open revenges for me.
the only thing i can think of in this case is that the other player could maybe be 3+ levels lower then you are and that is why you woudnt get a revenge on him... but you did say you have open revenge against him so i really dont know what you did or what he does to be able to trigger multiple revenges during the day even while you dont attack him.

There is no way that is the way revenges work. I am getting revenged by an individual who I attacked probably 3-4 months ago....he has revenged me everyday since....and I am absolutely positive that I have not attacked this individual 100 times. I may have killed him 10-15 times TOTAL, but yet he is able to revenge me every day for months!!!!

I am pretty sure that he will have the ability to keep on revenging me every day unless |I let him win, then maybe it will stop?
