This is why I suggested top 4-8 leaning towards the 8. It ensures that the next time there will be a completely new top 8, and the time after that a completely new top 8, brings the total player base getting those top 8 rewards from a static same 8 every time (perhaps 1 or 2 differences) to a new 8 every week. this is because players that were unable to come close to competing with the original top 8 will have achieved enough rewards to possibly compete in the next CW that they fight in. It also increased the ability of other players to advance further into the tournament. Ex: someone consitently falling out in the top 128 making it to 64, top 64 making it to 32 etc... As a result more players can compete at a higher level consistently and over time the end results of each CW becomes increasingly more varied and unpredictable. and People wishing to ensure they're victory every time they can re-compete will spend much more during their off weeks in order to stay ahead of the curve.
With this idea i'm also advocating that those unable to participate are still afforded the ability to bet, thus ensuring they are still gaining the same benefits as everyone else forced to sit out because they didn't make the top 512.
Overall I feel like it would balance the system out and make it more competitive all around for more players instead of watching the same 8 people fighting for the championship every single week.
I quite like the idea of having a the top 8 sit out for 3,2,1 week(s) depending on which week of the month they made it to the top 8 (assuming it is a weekly event). Then everyone getting back in and starting over at the beginning of the month again. I think it would make things quite a bit more interesting than the winner winning over and over again getting further ahead until they get bored and quit.
^Anyone spotted the inherent flaw here? No, OK allow me to explain.
Tynon grouped the servers into CW divisions because of time zones and to allow for other events and lifestyle. As we know, currently the US division already have conflicts with the timing of CW and GWs. This suggestion if implemented will pretty much kill CW off for nearly everyone except those on CST.
Why? Guys remember there are time zones within time zones. Europe has a time difference up to nearly 5 hours and I'm pretty sure it's the same with Asia-Pacific servers.
So lets say this was implemented, WST would begin CW at 6am or there abouts. Fancy an early start guys? What about EST? Well they'll have to decide if they aren't working or at school to play CW or Cerberus.
As for Europe, we also have have to consider the the work/school factor and the suggested timing would conflict with our Baal....
Finally Asia-Pacific have a large time zone base so I suggest y'all buy shares in coffee manufacturers, after all some of those guys will be up to 3am their time to compete in CW and are going to need plenty of black coffee.
Kinda looks like the only serious competitors are those in CST and only if they get up around 8am.

Forum Moderators are volunteers and are unable to fix in game problems
The time zone grouping is the best.
To fix the the overlaps in USA servers
I started a thread suggesting all cwf BE 1 HOUR LONG PERIOD EACH DAY. Have a separate championship for each time zone. This will make CWF take a few more days but allow for GWF to be returned to ins normally scheduled time and CWF to be at say 7.
That only fixes the issues with time zone overlaps with other events.
TO try and group it into different sever brackets could be done as well the same way
but broken down by time zone and bracket
Brackets being decided by age of servers
SO you could be having 3 or 4 championships in the same time zone in different brackets
This could then lead to an ultimate championship of the top 8 of each bracket fighting the top 8 of the same brackets in different time zones. This would then reintroduce the time zone problems and event overlaps
But since this would effect few it could be managed. One possible way would be to have 2 fights a day
not rounds but fights. SO you can set your form have the fight in 6 hours while your at work. After work check the results make changes and have another fight.
This would seriously prolong The ultimate finals however - everything else takes forever in this game why not CWF?
There are ways to solve all the issues, to introduce more winners, to make it more interesting for all. Tynon just may not be interested in all the coding needed to do it for a F2P model game.
Just leave CWF as it is.
Tynon obviously thought things out a lot before coming out with how things are now.
If someone keeps on winning, its their fault for being strong and putting in the sweat for their accounts.
You don't get it if we left everything as it was, then we would have no use for forums and no discussions. Life would be boring if everyone lived like robots now wouldn't it. What makes you guys remotely think that tynon would change anything or implement the changes we are brain storming about? But if by any chance we do come up with a solution which would be better for most, wouldn't that be something.
