I beat heroic Veleno post-patch with 28.6M power using the following formation:
Herja Adam Main

x Blood Shayd
RESERVE: Queen Penth

Was your Queen Penth loaded up with hp saintings? How many hp did she have?
She had ~68K HP as well as 7 stars. She has 3 HP saints (one blue and two white, sadly, but they help a lot). She didn't perform as well as she did in the future fights, though -- she died after 2 hits. It really came down to Shayd being able to stun 2-3 times early on so that you can kill the two drakes at the top WITHOUT taking damage from the boss. Once those drakes are safely eliminated, it is smooth sailing for the rest of the battle (at least it was for me).
Out of all the heroic bosses I've fought so far, this one was the most luck-dependant.
ALSO: it helps if you figure out how much damage Veleno deals with his skill, and make sure Blood can survive one of them. My Blood took a shot from Veleno's skill shot and survived with about 5% HP remaining (I had built his skill defence and HP just high enough to survive the blast). This way Blood is low health and can deal TONNES of damage.
Wow, my Queen Penth has around same hp but she couldn't even survive in tanking Tracker.
Would Rhize work instead of Adam? Might be able to take out the top row quicker.
It might, but the benefit of Adam is that you can also kill the monster behind Veleno (with a critical hit or two from Adam, depending on his damage). So killing the top three faster may or may not be better than the added bonus of killing the final monster.
Wow, my Adam is nowhere near able to kill even the top row with 2 thousand strikes. Whats the attack values on your Adam? I'm at 36k physical / 35k skill attack.
I don't know what my stats were at that point, but watching the replay I see I hit for 55k normals and 110k critical attacks. Most of the attacks are critical attacks because my Advantage is level 12.
Oh wow, maybe I ought to level up my runes! I'm getting around 90-100k crits with Thousand Strikes. What level are you?
