Attackers gain +20% stats if they are attacking the home base (they gain +5% stats for each camp they have defeated and hold with their flag). Did you take this fact into account? If so, then it is your duty as Guild Leader (assuming you are) to ensure that your members are worth their weight in power -- ie, do rune checks and make sure the players have their runes optimally placed (for one).
