Of course that wouldn't be sufficient. Would you give people the final hero at the beginning if people pay 5$? Doesn't make sense to me. They used to give Saffron at the beginning. Maria should be accessible just as Saffron was: through tough tavern work.

I think Tynon is on the right track here. Releasing new heroes only for paying players.
Coiners don't get much of an advantage as it is now.
Other MMOs all have paying-player-only content and heroes.
Tynon should follow suit.

Noticed her skill is called Greater Heal. So that would suggest that there may be a hero with a normal Heal at some point in the future.

Also, why is she the pillager? Is she the princess of pillaging? Also why is she "The Pillager" if she is a healer?

All right, i'm a sellout. I vowed never to pay. Level 94, 22.5 mill power's not bad for a nonvip, I had to have maria (since Adamanti and Bloodstorm were put out of my reach by last months big change). I'm so ashamed of myself for giving in...but she's so cute.

lvl 11 preciseness rune on her with lvl 10 intensity, and with lvl 80 magic attack talent... she heals for like 35 - 45k life and hit 10 - 15% of the overall cast.

Not that great and not worth sacrificing a hard hitting hero for her IMO/ Or a good stunner.

Strategically, she helps in killing Kahn, but that is debatable.

Don't get too worked up over her.

Really? Maybe you are just unlucky. I'm getting 25k heals with only a level 40 Justice Staff and level 40 Illuminated Mind. She misses 1-2 heroes per spell, but I don't have a hit rune on her yet.

Maria misses just as badly as Smoulder does.

She's useful in heroic and quests but I won't bet on her in pvp and championship warfare

Really? So all the bonuses and perks you have from being a VIP dont count? I worked pretty hard to get to where i am without paying a cent. Coiners have doubled, and some even tripled their power while ive got roughly 50% more in the past few weeks. Thats the difference between paying and not paying. Im not complaining but saying you do have much of an advantage as a coiner is silly imo.
