Rhize does more damage with skill attack than Alci, USUALLY hits more targets in the first round when it matters, AND seems to die slower.

Care to elaborate? How much difference are we talking here? An average of 5k damage? 10k? Give us a number .

there is fundemental differnce in the two.

1. Alci has 30% magic resistance built in and lasts against the magic attack mobs and players
2. Alci hits 3 in frontal formation regardless of which square they are on
3. Rhize only hits across the same row
4. Alci does do more dmg and the alci I have with my rune set up does upwards of 150k+ crit and 60 - 75k crit (evenly for all opponent heros) to the same level player as me and I am lvl 91. Rhize comes no where close

Also will add, if you rune up Mulan who hits across the same row like Rhize, she is also better and does as much if not more damage since people do not have high magic defense as physical defense. I might also add, she does not need morale so she is constant and consistent.

Also Mulan has 30% physical dmg resistance. She lasts good if you rune her up right.

Mulan > Rhize ... IMO if runes properly. Rhize = extinct (RIP)

When you get your rep up, can get King Theseus. He hits through the 3 in a same row. Again he has 20% magic and physical dmg resistance.... and runed up is the same damage as Rhize. Too bad KT does not stun. That would make him more useful.

Rhize and ALci have the same dmg potential if hitting the same enemies on rows favorable to their respective attacks the only difference comes in with stars and starting buffs if all else is equal imho.

Not selling anything. Do what you want to, as everyone has the right to their preference.

Mulan is very good if you have the right runes on her. lvl 12 preciseness with intensiveness + resilience (break and resilience) and with her added 30% physical resistance; put a lvl 10+ burliness rune on her, and she is a pretty dang good tank and hard to knock down.

But then again, you do have to rune her up properly. She is harder to kill than people think and damage is consistently high unless they all have messiness runed up with high magic defense talent (which not many do).

Im happy with Maria for 5 bucks i got 100 gems and a hero who can help me move up to a more difficult level of Lab and hopfully get a new spirit that I need. A little healing in Lab can go a long way. But i probably won't use Maria for anything else that i need a more reliable hero for.

What do you mean Alci does 150k+ crit and 60 - 75k crit?
Why two sets of numbers?
Against most player's formations, Rhize almost always hits 3 targets the first round, when it matters most. Alci hits 2 every time. You will never see a good player using 3 different rows wheareas all plays will have at least one row with 3 heroes. A good Rhize with Mulan and Blood behind will wipe out an entire row of 3 heroes plus a sub in two rounds (unless killed or stunned), leaving you with only two enemies to fight.

I am not saying Rhize is better than Alci. Their usefulness does depend on the formation. But Rhize and Alci has the SAME damage potential, given SAME equipment, runes, saintings, and stars. For me, Rhize is now 10 stars while Alci went down to 4, so the choice is easy for me. But I tested them using same runes and equipment while both were at 6 stars and found they do about the same damage.
