Cloak Problem

I'll try to explain Mehvidan has a Hope Bringers Cloak +18 it shows in his profile but does not show when I try to embed a gem or upgrade at the blacksmiths. I've tried removing it and replacing it but still only appears in his profile can't be upgraded or embedded. Any suggestions anyone?

have you refreshed? made sure ur computer has no viruses? cleared flash cache? or it could just be messed up

I restarted my computer and he had no cloak. He seems to have had a phantom cloak. I was moving cloaks around yesterday when I notice a none active hero had a better cloak and somehow wound up with an extra Hope Bringers Cloak from which I removed the gems and sold. I guess poor Mehvidan wound up with a cloak that wasn't really there, I just put the 0 level Hope Bringer Cloak on him added the gems I'd removed and started upgrading it. Strange but my fault shouldn't have sold the extra til I checked things. Odd things do happen here.
