The RUNE Rolls, and someone buying chest is an extreme annoyance. WHY DOES EVERYONE NEED TO KNOW THIS?
PLEASE SHUT THIS OFF. OR AT LEAST GIVE THE USER THE ABILITY TO SHUT IT OFF.
The ridiculous announcement when people make VIP or get a card or things when people buy packages is also very distracting and to be honest, it is nobody's business what people buy.
People get's harassed when people buy chests and packages in the game.

The suggestion has been voiced plenty of times before. At one point we heard that they were going to do something about it but nothing came of it. Now to try and ignore my pet peeves.
This is such an annoyance and it serves NO PURPOSE for this game. All it does it aggitate people and puts a target on the backs of very same people who pay a lot of money to play and enjoy this game.
If they don't fix this soon, many people who want to spend, but fear the community outburst towards them will not spend the money they were originally planning to spend.
I think it was meant to encourage spending... until people realized that spending money to get better at a game is nothing to be proud of. But for buying those coin and credits chests, I get to warn my guildies not to buy them anymore because the fair is much better.
After you deplete the fair and the sacrifices )if you own a coin city), there is no where else to go but the chest. Especially if you have beaten all the royal family and you can get 13.5mil coins per 99 gems on Wednesdays.Originally Posted by g346007_1906957
For high VIP's who are trying to get runes to lvl 12, it would take months if they do not buy the chests. Especially now that you need to rune up 6 characters.
EDIT: ALSO doing LAB and buying 2x or 5 x the coins. The 10x is definitely not worth it. 150 gem vs. 50 gem for 5 times more... unless you hit 700+ Which gives you about additional 5 mil coins and 2 mil credit for the 100 gem difference.

If you're in the upper levels and have all 3 coin cities the shrine is a much higher gem-coin/cred ration than the chests are (about 50% more) also there are now the ticket exchanges in CW where it becomes much more effective to spend gems on tickets for coins/creds than to buy them in chests. Overall the chests have become out-dated and over-priced post-lvl 60. And as for the original point, yes the banner is awful, but you learn to live with it, hopefully Tynon does something soon...but unlikely so get used to it. I've found going full-screen reduces it's annoyance (just a little bit).
13.5m for 99 gems is still pretty awful. No one in my guild is that heavy a coiner to make that worth it. Gems are worth a lot more... I understand there are certain cases in which is it worth it to buy a chest (you flip a good card and can't buy it), but most of the time it is just people not realizing how much they are wasting and could use some advice.
