So people have been sating that Ahmose + Saffron in the end game championship is the way to go. Put Ahmose in front of Adamanti to protect him while Adamanti rips through the opponent. Is this the best formation? Also using Herja to to ensure morale every attack for Adamanti?

Well, let's see, if we use Herja + Maria = 2 damage hero's out of formation ....

If you think Adamanti is going to save the whole fight, I am not inclined to think this is effective until the 2nd and 3rd backup slots are freed up.

So given all things are equally matched up (with defensive runes lagging at lvl 10 cap), and given you have a hard hitting starred up 11 - 12 star heros....
