MAGE Help!

With all the new heroes and now the addition of Maria, I have some questions. The mages I have are:
Shayd
Smoulder
Maria
General Mulan

I use Adam, Ahnmose, Bloodstorm, and Maria mostly, swapping out Maria for Shayd in Banish and Cianna for Adam. I do have as a substitue Lance, but do have Flavius as well which I could use also.

So, with that lineup, what mage would you suggest. Smoulder seems to not be very effective overall, but until the new heroes came out, we didn't have much choice. Would you suggest using Mulan instead for PvP or stick with Smoulder. Thanks!

stick with maria. Smoulder is pretty random 95% of the time. Well maria is also random and hits like smoulder. but, she recovers HP. and you already have hard hitters. so thats a good set up.

Maria for healing, and Mulan for offense.

That's about as good as it gets.

Smoulder sucks, with his 50% damage nerf.

yep, I invested so much in Smoulder and he still doesn't perform well. so your wasting your time on him.

I suppose if you got extremely lucky and got a lot of high end magic damage sanctifies he would be pretty nice for pvp. Maybe. But then we are talking about 5 or 6 gold sanctifies. In an era when gold cards flipping in Tavern seems to have been dramatically downgraded he isn't someone I would spend those rare cards on, especially if they came from spirits.

my Smoulder is Saint V, and I don't think I'll want to saint him any longer. he's +8 stars, that should actually make a difference.

Maria technically isn't a mage, but yes I would replace Smoulder with her.

Recently transfered a 8-star saint III Smoulder. Smoulder is so bad that I don't even regret transfering to an Alci that is now mortal (reset the trash saintings) and 4-stars (can't get back to 6 no matter how may stars I pour in).
