Free Redeem day was not the best for a couple reasons:
- Some players would get lucky and others would get unlucky. This was frustrating for the unlucky ones and it was inconsistent, and difficult to plan around.
- Free Redeems tended to clog up the Hero inventory. This was partially resolved with the new Hero Inn, but we don't really want players to have a bunch of white heroes they never use.
The new Double Spirits day resolves this:
- The more you spend, the more spirits you get. No more unlucky streaks and frustration.
- You only recruit the heroes you want.
Overall, we feel the new way is better. Tavern Tuesday is still my favorite.
I am sorry about the lack of notification, and I'm working with the team to make sure we better notify everyone of patches.
