I think her spell's base hit chance scales inversely with her level, to be honest. I've tried removing all of the defence runes from my heroes and she doesn't heal them any more than normal. Her hit rune is making a pretty big difference. Break doesn't SEEM to be helping, and I haven't tried critical hit yet (but I will right now). I'll do a few more tests and play around with her some more and post again if I find anything interesting.
Has anyone actually tested to see if your own dodge runes make maria healing your team harder yet?

Your assuming that the heroes you already have access too cannot counter it... That is a foolish way to think with this game. Tynon would never offer a totally game ending hero to only the coiners. They don't want a headache from flow of complaints that will come in from F2P'ers.

She does change the game quite a bit. Maybe there are ways to counter her in 1 vs. 1 fights, but she gives considerable advantages to guild wars and rag (when fighting multiple weaker opponents). From what I hear about her, she won't be that good in endgame pvp, but I never get to try her out with my team.
Ok did some testing
I hit the same person over and over
I am at level 105
Here are my results
Maria has no precise but has lvl 9 reliability
All my heroes have dodge and block runes - mixed levels of 8-11
Maria Missed 73.1% of the time
Next
Maria no precise level 9 reliability
My heroes have no dodge runes but still have block runes
Maria missed 73.4% of the time
next
Maria has precise 11 reliability 9
heroes have dodge and block runes
Maria misses 55%
Maria has Precise 11 reliability 9
Heroes have no dodge runes but have block runes
Maria misses 66.66% of the time
Maria has preciseness 11 reliability 9 crit 10
heroes have no dodge or block runes
maria misses 65%
I believe the 55% miss rate would go slightly higher with further testing. But basically it seems to me that block and dodge runes on your heroes make no difference. Hit rating does make some difference but not that much. I went form no preciseness to level 11 preciseness and the best i saw was a 18% increase but as low as a 7% increase.
These results were generated with about 20-25 rounds of healing attempts from maria per test.

I would not be too sure about that. There is a replay on Kahn where the fight last for 10 minutes and in the end Khan is beaten and it was not even close. The attacker has Maria and Destroyer and the rest are purples.
I have dodge 10-12 on all heroes and Maria heals my team pretty effectively.
herby lets get some numbers. Effectively to you could be 1 out of 5 every time.
My data shows she is very ineffective with even a precise 11 in my opinion
