I disagree. Maria is fantastic as long as the other guy can't two shot your heroes.

Ok later on Adam 2-shots an entire formation within 2 rounds.

Pay to win is fine if this was a PVE game, but it nearly exclusively a PVP game and pay to win doesn't make it fun for people that don't pay. If your answer is pay or quit then that is a poor stance for a company as a whole. As for Maria, getting stomped by somebody with over a million power less than me just because he has Maria doesn't make it fun. Keep in mind I'm still down around 6.5 mil power and he was under 5.5 mil, he attacked me, ended the fight at 96%, my revenge did ZERO damage to him thanks to Maria.

I'm guessing you're playing a different game then the rest of us if you don't think this is a PvP game. With the introduction of the championships that adds yet another PvP aspect.

Not only are the "looking to make money", they must make money in order to keep the doors open and actually pay the people that write the code.

If you spend money as others have in getting Maria, then why is this hurting you so much? Maria needs a lot of work regarding runes, equipment and all that jazz as she has a high miss rate and I think your're overstating her power a bit too. Never heals the right heroes in my team >.<. You have the choice to spend or not with Tynon as you do with Evony and spending gives you a head start. On the flip side, Tynon is a business and they're looking to make money. Maria has been a little goldmine to them.

I guess you never have played a real PVP game where you are attacked constantly and everyday you go to sleep and wake up to find close to a thousand attacks on you. This game is nowhere near to that.

I used to play Evony II and stopped because of just that.

Tribal wars played it for 3 years and it was hard when you own around 400 cities and everyday you go to sleep wondering how many you will have left in the morning lol ( stressful but fun)
