Maria Issues.

Holistic healing and healers have indeed been around for quite some time. Maria, is a name more in the Roman or Rhaeto-Romantic tradition, who I would not suppose would be outfitted in the Gothic tradition, as this character is, except that her outfit is a Roman white, not a traditional Gothic healer toga, which would have been beige, tan, or forestal green, and a bit longer. Sure, the emerald staff is authentic enough.... I don't have access to the Swiss National Holistic Healing Center History Library, thus I cannot definitively tell you how her runes would have ideally been created to match the Maria, Queen of Vestal Arts healing abilities.

before you complain (yes matty, i am looking at you jk), hear me out. after getting my maria finally to domi 5 and lucky on the sancts, i ended up with 341 (!!!) hitrating. it made me very happy at first and i couldnt wait to try out my new "secret support" weapon. after intensive testing against a variety of strong players with a variety of runes, there is one thing i noticed that happened over and over again:
with maria its a game of hit or miss - depending on your luck.

with an equal parties set up (no stunners), where there was a 50/50 shot with various heroes she either over or under performed. i had won matches with 100% HP and have lost significantly in the next matches after. i added and removed her preciseness 12 rune (220 hit) with the same results.

after a week of intensive testing i came to the conclusion that with maria its too much of a game of chance and the hit rating is either not included into the damage calculation or bugged or too insignificant.
this is especially disturbing in two ways:
a) because she comes with +40 hit out of the start, but whats it good for if it doesnt matter in the first place?
b) if she has a low hit rating her own team mates can dodge her! (this is especially disturbing because since she didnt miss and would have healed, they shouldnt be able to block/dodge the heal from the own party!)


my suggestion is to make the heals themselves much more dependent on the 'hit rating + critical' than on the 'magic attack + luck'. i removed a few hit rating stats (now at 310) and got them replaced with blue and purple magic attacks and am getting somewhat better results in the same testfield.

my conclusion: dont count on hit rating when it comes to your maria

i think she is at 14 stars right now, but that shouldnt matter, my point was the hit rating and not the healing/defense/resist power.

Magic attack on maria = total max healing. Mine is at 140k so she heals one hero for 140k then random like half of the 140 ie 70k 70k

Edit: Stars dont matter? Since when? I got 18 on all my heroes this increases command which makes blocking/dodging more do able....

it was referring to post#83 where i was talking about hit rating and that stars dont matter to it. yes stars matter for mattk/healing, defense, resistance i know that and pointed it out in post #85 but the hit rating as an isolated factor, as far as i am capable doing on an open server without modifying stats, i can ensure you that her hit rating is nerfed so hard that it almost doesnt matter anymore

Well im having trouble with runes on Maria and the runes that I have on Maria now are vigor(health), hawkishness(hit rating), advantage(critical), resistance(block), messiness(magic defence), nimbleness(dodge), focused(magic attack). Do i want break and resillencce instead of critical?
