Yesterday on server 7 I would click on a boat to board and actually boarded 5 to 8 seconds later.

Are you the KarmaKhan from Na5, Evony? Just curious.

I had some very bad lag problems for a long time. I tried every trick to speed up my network. Out of sheer coincidence I played the game on a different PC in a different room in the same house, on the same connection and POOF, no lag. The PC I normally play on is 6 years old, outdated Video Card, 4 Gig's RAM and generally out of date. The other PC has a $600.00 Video Editing and 3D Rendering Card with 10 Gigs Ram, and Quad Core CPU, plus more. My point is that it may not be your Connection. It's very possible it's your PC causing the issue. Upgrade you Video Card if you have the ability and install more RAM. Your lag issues may go away. Good luck.

It's flash (or more specifically, flashplayer) that is lagging.

Like Deucalion said, its your hardware that's causing the lag. Upgrade your hardware enough, and your lag will go away.
I'm willing to bet its your memory (or lack of it) that's the main culprit.
Second culprit could be your cpu utilization shooting up to 100%.
