ohh i thought this was due to the crashing of the finals.. its weekly now? damn 20000 tickets a week? thats abit ot much?

Nothing to do with the tickets, more to do with time and enjoyment.

Mid level players like it.
Small players like it.
F2P and top coiners like it.
Everyone in my alliance likes it.
I even think Tynon likes it the way it is.

This is one of the rare features of Tynon that both the players and the company benefit from.
Why change something almost everyone likes?

It's a brilliant technique and it encourages players but it's all well and good, for now. In a few months the Northern Hemisphere will be in summer and who is going to want to be stuck inside in a stuffy room playing or betting CWF 5 days out of 7 during a balmy summer's evening. A few might but I doubt most will.

The real answer is do we need it weekly, probably not. Increase the amount of tickets you get fortnightly and there isn't any real difference. I really think weekly is a bit too much, it's overwhelming to have events stacked up on one another and while currently it draws play in eventually people will lose interest. Too much all the time, people like to take the odd break from any game especially if they enjoy it because it keeps their interest.

Evony is a very different game but the main reason people eventually quit was it took over your life. You play these games as hobbies, not live and breathe them.

I'm not against the rewards, Herby. Just space the event out a bit, then increase the rewards to compensate for the loss.

I like the tickets as much as the next guy, but not enough to sacrifice too much time. If I have skip a competition, I will, but I'd rather not and just see them spaced out a bit, which would be better for people, even if they don't understand why.

The way I see it is, if I can be here, I'll bet; if I can't be here, I'll bet another time. There are so many opportunities to bet, missing one doesn't seem that bad to me. I'm pretty sure the same stands for those who can compete past the preliminaries or past the knock-out stages. If you can't compete this week, do it the next one.

Big dogs are on the older servers. I think the CW is geared towards encouraging those players to stay on the old servers to keep them alive. I understand your point and completely agree with you; however, I think it's the right move on Tynon's part to hold it the way it is.
