I don't understand why they gave us only a week to buy Maria. Some people don't have the cash right away, and by the time they do, the promo ended. It's kinda messed up that we can't even recruit her unless we buy her. It should be an option to buy her at any time and not just, "here's Maria you have 7 days to buy her or your out of luck." I have talked to others, and they feel the same way, on BETA they gave everyone Maria, but here we had to buy her. why not make it to where people that don't have the money to buy a hero, have another way to get her ? I know it's only 5 bucks, but some people have other things to do with their $ and can't just spend it here because they only gave us 7 days to buy her. I personally was going to buy her after my next paycheck, But it is no longer an option, because the offer expired. I just think it is unfair. Tynon says the game isn't set up to where people that spend money get better perks, then they do this. Yeah being a VIP is great, but making us buy a hero and saying we only have 7 days to do it is just messed up to me. I am going to try to post a poll to see how many people believe this is unfair, and believe we should have other ways to obtain Maria besides paying for her.

Beta is an unsupported server where you cant buy vip or other perks.

I bought maria, have never used her in a battle outside a couple of test battles. But as for perks of spending cash, I much prefer gaining a new hero then being able to auto spin the tavern or something like that.

Provided the hero is just an option even required is debatable, but not overpowered. I don't see the problem, even with a limited time sale.

I am pretty sure Maria will be available to non coiners too down the track. The people who have paid for her just get to use her sooner than the rest ( not saying that I have used her yet even though I bought her lol)

I have to agree to a certain extent here. People always call the game "free to play." One also has to realize that it is also a "pay to win" game. The concept of "fair" needs to be taken within this context.

However, i don't look forward to pay only heroes. I think they already have plenty of ways to make their money. The population of Tynon is small enough as it is. You go too far in one direction and you just end up with a game with a handful of coiners.

I did not vote, because this poll is misleading. Not all heroes are purchase only. I'd like to see more of them available soon this way though.

This has a debate with two sides. Those who believe VIPs should be rewarded and those who feel it's an 'injustice' to pay for heroes. You won't please everyone.

Lets look at the facts shall we;

• The package was $5, hardly expensive and a fair proportion opened their wallet to buy the deal
• Maria has her uses but is hardly a game changer, she can get as frustrating as Shayd sometimes!
• You can still play this game for free, coining has and always will be optional

The OP felt strongly enough to open another thread with the same poll in it, which I've closed for duplicity. This deal was immensely popular and since Tynon is a business it could be very likely more 'pay to own' heroes could crop up in the future.

It's 7 days because beginner's period is also 7 days.
